
AMITI is a private organization created to position Information Technology as the key ingredient to Mexico's competitiveness, promoting the industry's growth by seeking a regulatory and legal framework which facilitates business development.
AMITI, The IT Industry Mexican Association was initially founded in 1985 as the SW Industry Association. In 1997 was converted as AMITI, to incorporate, in addition to SW, other IT sectors such as HW Manufacturers, Integrators, Consultants, Channels and Service Providers.
Our mission is to take the leadership in the IT industry, to collaborate with Government, Academy and users to promote the use of the country information structure to facilitate the country competitiveness as well as the growth of IT industry and their participants.
INITIATIVES
AMITI representing more than 250 IT companies in Mexico, comprising HW manufacturers and vendors, SW developers and vendors, service providers, Integrators and channels. Also, the AMITI membership includes some honorary members from Government, Universities and foreign countries embassies.
